The travel was très dur . I had a big and heavy suitcase and if you think that the train conducturs would help a little girl carry such a burden, you're sadly mistaken - as was I. Since I started in Austria, I was aware that the first train could be a bit late but it turns out trains in Germany aren't much more punctual. I had to change train three times, I had to run to the next one every single time.
Finally arrived in Luxembourg city, I got the keys for my room in the hall of residence from a very nice lady in the bureau of mobility who stayed until 7 pm, just for me :)
After that, again train journey to Esch-sur-Alzette. At first I wasn't very happy that I'd be living here, half an hour from the city of Luxembourg, but Esch is a rather nice little city.

And here I am :) I've got two big windows, my room is rather large (photos will follow) and I've met the nicest people here.
The "Letzebuerger", as they call themselves, are great people too. They switch easily between German, English, French and Letzebuergisch. Their fashion sense is awesome. It's like little Paris. All the working women here have a "sexy secretary" look that they wear at all times, even in bad weather.
Today was my first day at the University of Luxembourg. It's a rather new and small university. They admit only 50 people in my study course each semester! For comparison, in Vienna it was almost 500 of us.
Here, everything is small and personal. The toilets are clean and there's even paper. Also, today the director of my course split a course into two parts, because I told him earning 4 credits would be too much work for me.
I think I could get used to this.
